Always delicious! From the wings to the Stromboli to the pizza! My favorite way to the order the wings is with their medium sauce and ask for some garlic on them as well. The restaurant is always clean and the employees are kind and helpful. This is always my husband’s favorite stop when we travel up to visit my family. Their outdoor seating area is wonderful in the Summer!

I used to love Pudgies however the last 3 times I have ordered my food has been very unappealing. I ordered Boneless Honey Bbq wings and there was so little sauce some pieces actually had no sauce all were rubbery. 🤢 Ridiculous. Honey Bbq chicken pizza the same. Practically no sauce at all. We were so bummed about spending $50,including the tip for the delivery driver, and we didn't enjoy not one bite of any of it. I let it go when I ordered at a busy time but last weekend that was not the case. Pudgies doesn't care about losing a customer. I'm well aware of that I'm nobody to the company but I'm just so frustrated.

I’m going to take you on my pudgie’s journey. First of all, it was the only thing open in this town past 7:30pm- we tried everywhere else and were left to patronize pudgies- the last option. We walked in and were assaulted with food pictures on the menu that should’ve clued us in to the fact that this place was NOT it... but based on the 4 star rating and steady line of customers, we pushed forth. I ordered a 1/2 order of medium wings, my boyfriend ordered a salad, we got 2 cooler sodas and an order of cannolis- the total was $32- shockingly high for what essentially boils down to one meal, but ... okay, we’ll push on. We sit down and wait for a solid 15 minutes, which is fine for wings but not a salad but also, whatever- fresh made, right? In the interim the counter girl’s boyfriend came in and demanded she come home so she can have a warm bed- she declined and he left in a huff. Food took another 7 minutes and we watched about 5 more people come in and order during our wait. When our food arrived, it was inedible. The wings were the absolute worst wings I’ve ever received or been forced to consume. The freezer burned tips, the blue cheese side that tasted like PLASTIC, the reflux inducing sauce... there was no upside. The salad was made out of a hunk of iceberg lettuce and sprinkled with subpar vegetables. A squabble amongst the staff continued to disturb our “dinner” and when we eventually left, we were met with fellow diners in the parking lot, using their cars as tables in the dark. The whole experience wasn’t just bad... it was bizarre. My concern is the 4 star review and the stream of customers - I need Lodi residents to know that it doesn’t have to be like this.... there are good, cheap, wings in the world.... please stop subjecting yourselves to this madness.

We gathered reviews from Google and Tripadvisor, and summarized helpful tips as well as commonly mentioned things others might find useful.

  1. If ordering online or customizing your order, be explicit about wanting cheese and sauce on your pizza to avoid surprises.
  2. Consider visiting during off-peak hours to potentially experience faster service without compromising on food quality.
  3. For those sensitive to cleanliness standards or looking for top-notch dining experiences, it might be advisable to check recent reviews before planning a visit.

Reviews

Pudgies seems to have mixed reviews with some customers expressing disappointment in the quality of food, such as unappealing wings and dried-out pizza slices, while others praise the friendly staff and delicious options like Stromboli and chicken parm. The atmosphere is described as clean and accommodating by some patrons, but others mention bizarre experiences including inedible food and unclean kitchen conditions. Despite varying opinions on the food quality, there are mentions of good service from the night crew, fast service during busy times like race days at Glen, and a pleasant outdoor seating area for summer visits.

The Buffalo chicken pizza was hot (maybe obviously but with that flavor can be hit or miss depending on heat level lol) but great atmosphere.

Not the best pizza I ever had, but was pretty tasty. Not bad, just felt like it needed something more. Was still nice and fresh, the service was excellent and the building is freshly renovated. As busy as the Glen was for the race, it was still worth the stop. My buddy liked his so much, he had to go back and buy 2 more slices.
